Do I need a smartphone to use MyPetTag?+
Anyone who finds your pet can tap the NFC tag or scan the QR code with any modern phone — no app needed. The profile opens right in the browser.
Is the free plan really free forever?+
Yes. Your pet's profile, lost mode, owner contact and the anonymous "found this pet" relay are free for life. We never expire the safety features.
What do I pay for, then?+
You pay for the physical gear (tags, cards, collars), and optionally for Premium — which adds scan notifications with location, rich profile fields, photo galleries, all templates and a personalized link.
Can multiple tags point to one pet?+
Yes. Buy as many tags, cards or collars as you like — link them all to the same pet. One profile, many tags. If one is lost or damaged, just deactivate it and link a new one.
What happens to my contact info when my pet is found?+
By default your number only shows while lost mode is on. Turn it off when they're home and any shared link stops showing your number. A finder can always reach you privately via the relay.
Do you offer accounts for shelters or breeders?+
