Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyPetTag website, NFC/QR pet tags, digital pet profiles and related services (the “Service”), operated by Salem & HaiTang Studio PLT(Registration No. 202604001055 / LLP0046286-LGN), a limited liability partnership registered in Malaysia (“MyPetTag”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, purchasing a product or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

MyPetTag lets you link one or more NFC tags, QR cards or collars (“devices”) to a pet profile. A device is dumb hardware that points to a profile; many devices can point to one pet. When someone taps or scans a device, the linked profile opens in their browser — no app required.

The Service depends on third parties (e.g. internet connectivity, the finder’s smartphone and NFC support). We provide the Service on a reasonable-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

• Free plan — every pet profile includes free-for-life safety features (shareable profile, lost mode, owner contact and the anonymous finder relay).
• Premium — an optional paid upgrade per pet (billed yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase) that unlocks richer profiles, scan alerts, photo galleries, all templates and a personalised link.
• Business accounts — verified shelter and breeder accounts have their own features; breeder profile slots are purchased in prepaid packs.

Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) on our Pricing pageand may change from time to time; the price shown at checkout applies to that purchase. Salem & HaiTang Studio PLT is not currently registered for SST, so no Sales & Service Tax is added to our prices. Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway, Billplz. You authorise us to charge the applicable fees for your purchase.

Delivery of physical products, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You are responsible for the information you publish on a pet profile. You agree not to:

• Publish content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing or that violates another person’s rights or privacy.
• Upload another person’s contact details without their consent.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud or harm others, or to send spam via the finder relay.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

Lost mode and the finder relay are tools to help reunite you with a lost pet, but they are not a tracking or GPS service and depend on someone finding the pet and choosing to tap or scan the device. We do not guarantee that a lost pet will be found or returned, and we are not liable for the outcome of any lost-pet situation. MyPetTag is not a substitute for a microchip, veterinary care or licensing required by law.

The MyPetTag name, logo, website, software and designs are owned by Salem & HaiTang Studio PLT and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our prior written permission, except as needed to use the Service normally.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, the Service is provided “as is” and we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of a pet, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, liability) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for any dispute arising from them.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted here. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions? Email hello@mypettag.my. See also our Privacy Policy.
